The basic data for the press
program for a cabinet assembly is
automatically generated based on
specific identifiers which are assigned to
each individual model part. This information
is then used to determine the situational
data and create corresponding machining
features.

|
|
|
Since in a carcase press also
single parts or subassemblies can be pressed
together that are already fitted with hardware
components, these additionally installed
components are taken into account as
blocked areas at the press data
determination process.
|
|
The designer of the model has the
freedom to determine which model parts need to
be processed in the carcase press. PASCAM Bea
provides full control at the
selection process; in particular when creating
the press program.

|
|
PASCAM Bea analyzes the assembly
process of the cabinet assembly and derives all
necessary information directly and associatively
from this comprehensive model
description. This also includes
formatting of information about subsequent
machining operations on the pressed assembly,
such as tacking the cabinet back panel or adding
additional hardware components.
