Edge processing

The functionality for edge banding via CNC machines is comprehensively supported natively by PASCAM Bea. Thus, in addition to the usual information on edge description, the description for automatic butt joint gluing is also available. Of course, the postprocessors transfer this information transparently and completely to the WOP system.

The cross-cutting of the protruding glued edge is also natively supported, whereby corresponding offsets and angles can be specified individually for each cross-cutting operation.

Subsequent machining operations after the edge banding, such as flush trimming or using a scraper tool, are also natively supported in PASCAM Bea. For this purpose, additional lead-in and lead-out strategies are available to the user, e.g. to improve probing at corners.

Special gluing aggregates are also natively supported in PASCAM Bea, such as those required for gluing at a rebate using a pressure zone.
